Seattle Academy's partnership with Rainier Avenue Radio as a sponsor of their statewide voter information and education campaign "Engage and Activate" has gain momentum with our local youth. Recently King 5 News featured Alumna Taylor-Corrine Benton's '20 involvement in the "Student Election Connection" and Alumni Parent and Rainier Avenue Radio host of the nightly debates Toni B. Early indicators in the 2020 Election display young voters, age 18-24, are showing up to the polls. Which is an improvement from the 2016 election where the young voter was the demographic that voted the least.

The Student Election Connection radio program is being listened to across the Greater Seattle Area, State of Washington, and the country as some schools are making it a part of their curriculum.

Tune in to Rainier Avenue Radio the week of October 26 for their nightly programming on the upcoming local 2020 elections.
