Celebrations Mark the End of the School Year7th Grade Dance Performs at Curtain Call
The school year officially ended this week with the culmination of several events.
End-of-Year Parties: Both the 6th grade and the 8th grade held end-of-the year celebrations on Monday, June 10. The 6th grade went to Sandbox Sports, while the 8th Grade stayed on campus, signed yearbooks, ate ice cream, and enjoyed BubbleBall on the rooftop playfield.
Curtain Call: The entire school gathered in the gym on June 11, the last day of school, for Curtain Call. Curtain Call combines the End-of-Trimester performances with a celebration of the accomplishments of another great school year. Check out the photo gallery.
8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony: The Class of 2023 held their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 12. The ceremony included speeches, performances, videos, and handing out certificates as the class ended their Middle School career and looked ahead to their high school career. A short reception followed with faculty, staff, friends, and families helping honor the graduates. Photos will be available on Smug Mug next week.
Faculty and Meetings: The week closed out with faculty and staff meeting to finalize some self-study projects, look at the upcoming school year, and acknowledge departing faculty and staff.
Summer Office Hours: The school is open over the summer. Families needing assistance can stop by the Vanderbilt Building between 8 AM-noon and 1 – 4 PM.
