The Seattle Academy Community Engagement Organization (CEO) recently held a bake sale to benefit Seattle Humane. Ten students volunteered to bake and sell goods for the event and a representative from Seattle Humane attended the event to talk with students interested in volunteering for the organization.

We are happy to announce that we raised a total of $285! The CEO Club will be matching this profit, so our total donation to Seattle Humane will be $570. This is tremendous, especially considering that this was our first fundraising event of the year. Students plan to hold more bake sales this year to raise money for several of the other organizations with which we have partnered. We hope they will be as successful as this one.

CEO wants to give a huge thanks to all of the student volunteers, as well as our faculty advisor, Rick Dupree, Seattle Humane, and to all of the students who purchased items and made donations to the fundraiser to “bake” (make) this event possible!
