Congratulations to the Class of 2019!

The Class of 2019's culminating event of high school, their commencement ceremony, took place Tuesday night at McCaw Hall. In true Seattle Academy fashion, the event displayed the talents of the class in a wonderful showcase of heartfelt speeches, uplifting performances, and genuine moments of community. 

 

This event was one of three year-end spotlights honoring the class, their contributions to the school, and their many accomplishments. The week-long goodbye started last Tuesday, May 28, with their Senior Project presentations which highlighted their experience on their six-week internship. The audience included their parents, grandparents, teachers, and mentors, many of whom have offered internships and paid positions to the seniors based on their work ethic and product during their project. 

 

On Friday, May 31, the faculty and staff had an opportunity to sit down for a private good-bye during Senior Lunch. The seniors received some advice from Seattle Academy's alumni, were thanked for all they have given to the school, and received a toast as they departed our campus but not our community.
