Gimbel-Sherr ’23 and Carver ’23 Finish First at Head of the Lake Regatta

This past weekend, the Lake Washington Rowing Club hosted the fortieth Head of the Lake Regatta. The regatta starts on Lake Union, continues through the Montlake Cut to Lake Washington, and finishes near the University of Washington’s Conibear Shellhouse. This year’s three-mile race included 467 entries in six different categories with representation from eighty-three different clubs.

Shelter Gimbel-Sherr ’23 and Meg Carver ’23 were members of the Girls U-17 Coxed 4x boat that finished first in their division. The Pocock Rowing Center team finished with a time of 20:11.182. Click here for more results.
