Mix-It-Up Day Activities Designed to Promote Connections

On Thursday, October 31, the Middle School celebrated Mix-It-Up Day! Mix-It-Up Day is celebrated at schools across the country promoting connection, cross grade-level interaction, and getting to know new people. On Monday, October 28, we held mixed grade-level advisories to introduce 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to one another.

On Thursday, we hosted all students in the gym for a pasta lunch and spooky desserts from Sage. The event included different get-to-know-you activities and games. Kids sat with their mixed grade-level advisory groups. To cap off the afternoon, we had a special performance by 7th grade English teacher, Madeline Williams, and a Halloween fashion show, showcasing all the cool and creative costumes that students wore.

We hope through these activities, kids will continue to be more open and continue to connect with one another as the school year continues.  CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS
