SAAStastic Cyber Patriot Cyber Security Club Finishes in Top 3 at State Competition

Last month, the newly formed Upper School Cyber Patriots Club lead by Faculty Advisor Ernie Drumm finished in third place in the Washington State Round competition of the National Youth Cyber Education Program.

The SAAStastic CyberPatriot cybersecurity team consists of Lex Capestany '22, Kavi Dey '22, Emily Myint '22, Adam Olsen '22, and Amavi Santos '22. 

This is the twelfth year of the CyberPatriot competition, which is sponsored by the Air Force Association. With over four thousand teams competing in six divisions, SAAStastic CyberPatriots' team competed in two preliminary rounds to place them in the Gold Division with over eleven hundred other teams. 

With their third place finish in Washington state, SAAStastic CyberPatriots has received an invitation to compete in the semifinal round scheduled for January 23 and 25.
