Help Make This Year’s SAAS in the City a Success!

SAAS in the City is our signature community gathering and fundraiser in support of economic diversity that celebrates and showcases the transformational impact a SAAS education delivers to our students and beyond. This year, your SAAS in the City donations will support Financial Aid and Community Chest to ensure all students can participate in the full SAAS experience. All families are invited to attend.

The evening includes inspiring student and alumni performances, a cocktail reception, spectacular raffle packages (more details to come!), and a festive dinner. In addition, we hold a unique and fun event entitled “Wine, Spirits, and Sparkles Grab” that takes place during the cocktail hour with mystery bottles selling for $25 each (valued at $30-59) and $50 each (valued at $60 and more!). Some wonderful bottles have already been donated including vodka, whiskey, and wine valued in excess of $300! 

A special thanks to those who already donated to our “grab” event. We are still in need of more wine, sparkling wine/champagne, or any spirit (Scotch, Bourbon, Vodka, Gin, Rum, etc.).  We are hoping to offer one hundred and fifty assorted bottles this year, so please consider donating a bottle of your favorite white wine, liquor, sparkling wine, or champagne valued at $30 or more. To donate, simply print a donation form online and drop it off with your bottle (or bottles!) at the nearest SAAS front desk. Both the Vanderbilt and Middle School Buildings will be open during Mid-Winter Break.

If you’re not able to attend SAAS in the City but would still like to support the event, you can do this in a number of ways:

• Volunteer to help at a work party or on the day/evening of the event.  Please contact Paula Wilkinson at pwilkinson@seattleacademy.org.
• Underwrite a faculty ticket. Faculty tickets (Olympic Orange) can be purchased by clicking here.
• Make a donation in lieu of attending. Donations can be made by clicking here.
