This Pre-College Advising Suggestions document has additional ideas gained from our many years’ experience working with upper school students.

Once you’re settled in upper school, we will answer your questions over time. If the FAQ above doesn't address your concerns, feel free to email College Advising. During 9th grade, students should focus on their broader Seattle Academy experience, but rest assured, our office will ensure your questions are answered. Students may also visit our office hours in the Upper School 4th Floor Commons to ask student-only questions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3-3:30 on days school is in session.

Upcoming Meetings: All upper school families are invited to the 11th grade parent/guardian meeting in October. While the focus is on 11th graders, curious 9th and 10th grade families may find the information helpful. Seattle Academy also opens to all upper school families college financing and standardized testing talks (see Seattle Academy calendar).
