Music Production

Music Production at Seattle Academy gives students hands-on access to recording technology and digital audio software, empowering them to compose, produce, and record original music in a creative, multimedia environment. Through both independent exploration and dynamic collaboration, students discover their artistic voice and experience the excitement of bringing music to life.

Music Production is offered as a class for 8th graders and as classes and an after-school club in the Upper School. Students work in a fully-equipped recording studio to create and refine their projects, with opportunities to take on different roles across the many aspects of music production. Guest artists further enrich the program, modeling professional practices and inspiring students to produce work of the highest quality.

Whether they're building their first track or preparing to share their work with a live audience, students gain experience in technical skills, in creative expression, peer collaboration, and in the art of bringing original ideas to life.

ORIGINAL MUSIC

Digital Music students work on collaborative projects that encourage self-expression and develop skills using cutting edge recording technology to create, compose, and produce original music.
