Music Production

Music Production provides students with access to recording hardware technology and digital audio software, allowing them to compose, produce, and record original music in a creative, multimedia environment. Through personal exploration and regular dynamic collaboration, students develop their voices and experience the joy of music composition and production.

Music Production is offered as a class for 8th graders and as both a class and an after-school club for Upper School students. Both the class and the club have access to a recording studio to work in and produce their final products, and each student has the opportunity to find a unique role in one or more of the many aspects of music production. Guest artists also reinforce the values of the creative voice and professional-level output.

ORIGINAL MUSIC

Digital Music students work on collaborative projects that encourage self-expression and develop skills using cutting edge recording technology to create, compose, and produce original music.
