Cathy has been an integral part of the Seattle Academy Athletic Department for over 20 years. Under her tenure, the school has added three additional athletic programs and has doubled the number of teams available to students. Since her start, SAAS athletic teams have received over 160 league and state honors. She is a 2003 Montana State Hall of Fame member for her work with the ’92-’93 Women’s Basketball Team, a 3-time recipient of the Washington State Athletic Administration Association District Award, and a member of the WIAA Executive Board.

Hilary joined Seattle Academy in 2015 as a Middle School coordinator and has been an assistant athletic director since 2019. She is a Rochester, New York native, attended Northwestern University, and most recently coached lacrosse at the University of Southern California from 2011-2014. In 2016, Hilary was inducted into the Northwestern University Athletics Hall of Fame after setting the Northwestern lacrosse single-season record for goals with 81, winning two IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse All-America awards during a career in which she was among the top goal scorers in the sport. Hilary started the girls lacrosse program at SAAS in 2016 and is currently the varsity girls coach. She has a passion for introducing kids to sports and has coached all levels of lacrosse, from Seattle kindergarteners to the Irish National Team.

Max joined Seattle Academy in 2023 as the Assistant Director of Athletics. He is a Seattle Native and earned a BA in Communications and MS in Athletic Administration from Central Washington University. After graduating, he spent time working in athletics with the Boys and Girls Club, Central Washington University, Shoreline Community College, Edmonds College and most recently at Seattle Preparatory School, where he coached boys’ basketball and baseball.
