Join Us at SAAS Pride: Winter Hoopla 2024!
A Community Celebration of Seattle Academy's Winter Sports
For over 30 years, this cherished community-wide tradition has brought the Seattle Academy community together to celebrate our Middle and Upper School basketball teams with thrilling back-to-back games in the Cardinal gyms. It’s our most dynamic and energetic event, showcasing school spirit at its finest.
From humble beginnings, this event has transformed significantly. In its inaugural year, we didn’t yet have a dedicated home gym, hosting games at venues like Seattle Pacific University and Seattle Central. Initially featuring just four games with two Middle School and two Upper School teams, it has now grown into a remarkable event with 15 games. Since establishing our own gym and adding a second one in 2018, this celebration has only flourished, becoming a cornerstone of our community and athletic pride.
