AC 204
Open Studio (aka Art Club) starts next on Wednesday, October 4, and will run every Wednesday through the end of May 2024. We will meet in AC 204 from 3-5:30pm except for culminating exam weeks. Open Studio is for students in all grades 6-12. Pick-up is on 13th Avenue at 5:30 PM.

It is a time for students to work on independent projects or continue their class projects. Though faculty will be on hand to help with supplies and studio stewardship, it is self-directed time. Clay will only be available to current ceramic students in the Upper School.

Please direct any questions to Lily Hotchkiss at lhotchkiss@seattleacademy.org

Chong WA Benevolent Association, 522 7th Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98104

Please see the information below about an ongoing service-learning opportunity that meets our criteria and will count toward our graduation requirement.

CommuniteaProject is a non-profit that works closely with the Chong Wa Benevolent Association in the I.D. Over the next few months, in collaboration with the Benevolent Association, interested students would meet every other Sunday at Chong Wa from 1 - 4:00 pm to help clean up in and around the building and learn to write grants. In addition, any students who sign up would have an opportunity to use their Mandarin Chinese language skills if they speak the language--or potentially learn some Mandarin during their afternoon volunteering.

And here's the student sign-up form: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0848A8A92BABFBC25-44358477-chinatownid#/ with more information about times/dates/etc.
