Rising 6th Grade

We ask that you check your family calendar against the Required Production Week rehearsal and performance dates, because once a student is scheduled into the course, it becomes very challenging to make changes without disrupting the student’s entire academic schedule for the year.

All incoming middle school students will take a math placement test. Please sign up for a time slot to take the test, which will take place on campus in April.

• No previous experience is required for Band or Beginning Violin. If you select either of these courses in your registration survey, the teacher will reach out via email with further context and questions. 
• Prior experience is required for String Ensemble. If you select this course in your registration survey, the teacher will reach out to coordinate an audition for placement into either String Ensemble or Advanced String Ensemble. 

Student schedules for the entire school year will be available at Orientation, August 31 - September 1.

Textbooks are delivered to the school and will be handed out during the first week.
