2024-2025 SAAS Ski Bus

Stevens Pass has made discounted lift tickets available for all participants. There are two options: a 6-Week Ticket Bundle for $126, and a discounted Stevens Season Pass for $315. These tickets must be purchased by calling the Stevens Pass call center at 206-812-4510, with the exception of students enrolled in lessons who may purchase the season pass online with their lessons.

Students can participate in a 6-week group lesson program for $324. and have the option to sign up for ski lessons or sign up for snowboard lessons, selecting “Sundays PM” for the session. Students doing lessons who wish to add a discounted Stevens Pass season pass for $315 may purchase that pass online when they register for lessons.

The price for this program is $325, due at the time of registration. Financial Assistance for transportation may be requested through the SAAS Community Chest Form. You will then receive instructions from the business office with next steps. Ski passes and equipment rental costs are also eligible through Community Chest.

Helmets are required for all ski bus participants. If your student needs to rent gear, we highly recommend a season rental, as on-mountain rentals are time consuming and expensive. The following shops offer season rentals:

• Alpine Hut (Interbay)
• Sturtevant’s Ski Mart (Bellevue)
• Mountain to Sound Outfitters (West Seattle)

Students are responsible for their own food. Busses will not be open during the day, but lockers are available in the lodges. The lodges also offer hot food for purchase.

Chaperones will be taking attendance going to and coming from the mountain. 

Students are expected to follow the SAAS Core Values on the bus, in the lodges, and on the mountain. It is expected that the busses will be thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the day and that no damage to the bus will occur. No one will be allowed to leave the busses until clean-up has been completed! Disregard for these rules may result in suspension or termination from the program, without refund. It is imperative that each student realizes that they are representing SAAS and is expected to behave appropriately.

Students will be able to free ski within open terrain on the mountain according to the mountain’s policies. All students are expected to use the buddy system and remain together throughout the day. A SAAS chaperone will be stationed in the lodge all day and available in person and by phone. If students are worried about a potentially serious injury, ski patrol should always be contacted before the SAAS chaperone. Should any student be injured, parents will be promptly contacted by the chaperone on duty.

We encourage students to ski with cell phones to facilitate communication with friends and chaperones on the mountain.

If Stevens Pass or U.S. Highway 2 closes (or if the forecast suggests that may occur), we will cancel the ski bus and attempt to reschedule later in the season. If we are caught in unforeseen weather or traffic, parents will be promptly notified. Busses will carry emergency kits with food, water, first aid/medical kit and other emergency supplies.
