Middle School Adventure Club
We are excited to be offering Middle School Adventure Club again for Fall of 2025! Participants will be exposed to a range of outdoor activities, developing skills and competencies in core/focus areas that will empower them to further explore the outdoors and become more familiar with our local backyard. Activities will include local hikes, kayaking and foraging as well as team building, camping and survival skills. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
Note: If students doing Adventure Club for Fall 2025, they cannot also participate in a SAAS Fall sport or Robotics, Bouldering Club, Dance Project or Vocal Project during this trimester. Even if they are doing Adventure Club Monday/Wednesday, they cannot do another SAAS Club or sport Tuesday/Thursday. We have created this rule in order to increase equity of access and increase the total number of students who can participate in our different SAAS extracurricular activities.
- Adventure Club is open to any Middle School student.
- Adventure Club is split into two groups that each have two assigned days per week at Adventure Club. Group A will do Mondays/Wednesdays and Group B will do Tuesdays/Thursdays.
- 3:15 PM - 5:30 PM (times may vary depending on the day)
- First Day: Monday, September 8
- Last Day: Thursday, October 31
- No cost for families
This Fall, we will be also offering an OPTIONAL (but recommended!) overnight camping trip through Middle School Adventure Club in late October in order to put into practice all of the skills we have learned!
