Family of Funds
With our Family of Funds, you can direct your gift to an area of your choice.
Most families give to the Area of Greatest Need, allowing us to flexibly respond to priorities. You may also direct your gift to Financial Aid, Arts & Athletics, or Curricular Enhancements. These four areas represent vital elements of a SAAS education all of which are greatly enriched by your generous support.
Greatest Need
Unrestricted gifts provide flexibility for SAAS to meet the immediate needs of students and faculty and give SAAS the ability to say YES when opportunities arise. Technology, faculty professional development, and student-initiated activities are all supported by these funds. Unrestricted funds leave the door open to possibility!
Financial Aid
Seattle Academy values an inclusive, economically diverse community and is committed to making the SAAS education accessible to as many families as possible. More than 25% of our families receive financial aid for tuition each year. Financial assistance is also available for the whole SAAS student experience, including transportation, lunch, trips, and additional school-related expenses.
Arts & Athletics
Did you know SAAS has no-cut policies for both arts and athletics? Your gift enables students to explore new areas of interest in a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Students can participate in a wide variety of activities, including theater, dance, vocals, instrumental music, and team sports from novice to varsity level.
Curricular Enhancements
An exemplary curriculum rooted in excellence and innovation lies at the heart of a SAAS education. Gifts to Curricular Enhancements provide tools and resources to keep course offerings at the cutting edge. Funds support our Culture of Performance that inspires our students to think outside the box, embrace challenges, collaborate, and problem solve.
