Seattle Academy has reached an important milestone: opening the doors to the new Upper School building for the first day of the school year—ahead of schedule and under budget.
More than a building, the Upper School is the final piece in our decades-long goal to reunite our Middle and Upper Schools on one block.
And it’s a launchpad for bold futures.
SAAS students will learn, connect, and create on a campus designed not just to hold learning, but to ignite it. Every space, including the Innovations Hub, Music Production Studios, Upper School Commons, and the central courtyard, is purpose-built to spark curiosity, deepen relationships, and amplify student voices.
The best part? All of this is happening now. Creative financing allowed us to break ground quickly so our students could take advantage of these new opportunities as soon as possible.
With the building complete, we’re asking the entire SAAS community to help finish what we started—together.
